Elroy Johnson III is an entrepreneur, mentor, minister, husband, father, and author whose life has been shaped by faith, fatherlessness, family, business, failure, perseverance, and purpose.

  • Raised in Dallas without the consistent presence of his father, Elroy understands firsthand how childhood wounds can follow a person into adulthood. His journey has taken him from corporate America to entrepreneurship, real estate, recovery services, men's housing, ministry, and mentoring others.

    Through both success and failure, Elroy came to understand that achievement alone cannot heal the wounds of the past—and that true legacy is about far more than money or accomplishments.

    He wrote The Purpose Legacy to encourage fatherless sons and daughters, fathers, single parents, mentors, and anyone searching for God-given purpose to confront what shaped them without allowing it to determine what they pass to the next generation.

    Above all, Elroy's desire is that his story points beyond himself to Jesus Christ.
